Lights, Camera, Action – Film Presentation 27 February 2019

Come along to the Hannaford Centre to listen to this engaging  presentation by Zana Dare. It will look at achievements of some of our early films. Australia’s early film makers were not only highly creative, but industrious, leading the world in the development of the art form of film making. We will look at highlights from The Story of Ned Kelly and the Dad and Dave films. We will peek behind the scenes in classics like Forty Thousand Horsemen and On the Beach, a film that had so many stars they dubbed it ‘Hollywood comes to Melbourne’.  This free talk is scheduled by the Inner West Council for the Not So Young Club.
