Erica Aronsten

Master Art Administration, F. Edplus.

Erica has a Master of Art Administration (UNSW), Fine Arts Certificate and Post Technicians Certificate in Painting. She is the recipient of two international advertising awards beginning her career in advertising. In addition to her creative talents, Erica has a wealth of experience in the areas of fundraising, marketing and communications in the education and not-for-profit sectors. In 2016 and 2012 she was invited to be Artist-in-Residence on selected Oceania Cruises. In recognition for her services to fundraising in Australia, in 2008 she was awarded the status of Fellow at Educate Plus (formerly ADAPE Australia) Association of Development and Alumni Professionals in Education.

Zana Dare

BA (Hons.) Dip Ed, Graduate Diplomas Media and Museum Studies

Zana has worked in education, museums and community arts, teaching art, writing, collage and printmaking. In 2018,  she was appointed Enrichment Lecturer for selected Royal Caribbean cruises. In six years in museums and as Coordinator of  Fairfield City Museum and Gallery, she designed education and public programs and curated exhibitions. In 2018 she was Artist-in-residence Atelier de la Rose, Montpellier, France. In 2016 and 2012 she was an Artist-in-Residence with Oceania Cruises. Her art posters have been collected by the State Library of Victoria.

Nick Aronsten


Nick graduated from Southern Cross University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Music majoring in music production. He is an independent music artist and composer based on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. In 2011, he was commissioned to provide compositions exclusively for use in Creative Kick Start Workshops. These have proved to be a real hit with workshop participants. Nick recently worked with developer Apptitude Pty Ltd to create the music for a new app in the iTunes app store –  Sharks Superpredators – here at last!

Catherine  (Cate) Valpiani

Master Cross-disciplinary Art and Design,  B. Arts (Fine Arts),  Adv Dip Fine Arts (printmaking major)

Cate is a Sydney-based artist who has a strong interest in relationships between creativity and health.   She has previously worked in numerous health care settings and has qualifications in nursing and complementary medicine.   Drawing, printmaking and textile art are some of her main practices.   She enjoys introducing others to art, sharing skills and encouraging creativity.
